I have been trying to find my Microsoft Office: Mac 2011 for days, and can't find a thing!!! I signed into my account after struggling to find the password, which I ended up resetting.

Lo'n-behold, when I finally managed to log in, what do I find? Nothing, no information about where to go, no information about my product, no serial number to reactivate my product, NOTHING!!! I am pissed off because I paid $129.00 for this thing and it didn't even come with an activation serial number. I had to go online to get one. Well I suffered a total system failure that resulted with EVERYTHING IN MY COMPUTER getting corrupted, unusable and nothing could be recovered. I spent days just reformatting the machine, and several days more, rebuilding the entire system, just so I could get it up and running again.

Now I'm reinstalling the software, but can't use this MS OFFICE: MAC, because the serial number was lost along with everything else. The so-called solution center is nothing more than a electronic runaround with no answers at all, or even anything remotely related to recovering my serial number so that I can reactivate this product.

So now I have this useless DVD that amounts to less than a penny's worth of plastic. Microsoft offers no way to contact them at all because their website provides nothing for people to contact them directly. You know, another company does exactly the same thing, APPLE Corporation. They have a so-called 'Support Site', a huge waste of time and just as big a joke as Microsoft, that does nothing but give you an ELECTRONIC RUNAROUND!!! If you click a link, it takes you somewhere else. When you come to the linked page, you think you found the answer you seek, but when you click the link, it takes you exactly back to the place where you started!!!

RELATED: We’re not really sure why Microsoft went to great lengths to make it difficult to see the product keys for their software, especially since they are stored right in there in the registry and can be read by software, if not by humans. We can only assume that they don’t want anybody to re-use a key from an old computer. The great thing is that you can even recover a key, even from a computer that won’t boot anymore.
