I have not been able to sign on to Skype to Skype my son out of the country. I contacted online chat support to get help this am. In the process I did give the online chat person my Skype name and (several) passwords. Shortly after I did so, the connection was lost. The online person made no attermpt to reconnect with me and I can’t figure out how to get back to any online chat. I am concerned about having given my name and password to this online support person.
Can someone tell me how to reach the online chat again? Skype was substandard at best before Microsoft bought it. NOW it is an even lower rung on a ladder if that is possible. Before, i could usually have a live chat. Now— not even after 1.25 hours online, and 45 minutes trying to find customer support with Microsoft = someone who knows about the new Skype webpage and finding call history for Unlimited World and Skype Credit. I used to find it quite easily before Microsoft bought Skype. So far Microsoft ‘customer service representative’ have put me on hold to ‘transfer’ me six times then hung up.
Or sent me to a Microsoft store. My Skype name is ” olefletcho ”!!!!
I cancelled my Skype account back in November of 2012 and, also, I cancelled, at the same time, my auto-debit-charge on my credit card and I even receive am email that it all way done and all connections with me and this pathetic service called ” SKYPE ”, has been cancelled, which I still have a copy of this email! As many have said, I hate to be RUDE but this service has caused me to be RUDE!!!!
They will answer my emails with a, NOREPLY-AUTOMATED EMAIL, so I have to start all over AGAIN to get these ILLEGAL BILLINGS REMOVED from my VISA CARD!!! I will try one more time TODAY to get these charges removed from my visa card and if they are not quickly removed and my card credited very soon, I will have nothing else to do but call my CREDIT CARD COMPANY and dispute these charges, 4 of them by Skype, and have these SKYPE CHARGES REMOVED, ” MY WAY “!!!! Also, if for some rare reason, that I have made a mistake, which I doubt because I have proof, I will formally, APOLOZIE TO SKYPE, all over the internet!!! I don’t think that I can be any more respectful and than that! What do you think SKYPE USERS? Idm for mac free. I would appreciate any feed-back from any of you guys and gals!!!! When I downloaded the latest version of Skype about a month ago, my problem started. I am using the same headset with microphone that I have been using, successfully, for years. I can hear sounds from ALL other applications, but not from Skype. My callers can hear ME, but I cannot hear THEM.
In a three-day period, I have had three “chats” with three different representatives. They either do not understand my problem, or they don’t know how to deal with it. I have wasted nearly 10 hours with people who cannot or will not help me.
Skype does not know the meaning of “customer service.”. I just got off the phone a while ago with an associate named Marcus Williams. He seemed nice at the beginning but I have never ever come across a customer service person as rude as he is. He is extremely rude and ended up telling me since I am in financial difficulty and can’t even pay for the technician fees he is not able to help. I pointed out his rude attitude to me and he told me that’s the way to deal with customers like me and off cause he did hung up on me. Got on the phone again and the next associate helped me with quite an easy fix.(Quite unfortunate I didn’t get the name of the second associate).
